The Best Breakfast & Brunch Places in Martin County, Florida

I always like to start the morning with a good breakfast. Brenda and I have been out all week enjoying breakfast at the best breakfast & brunch places in Martin County, Florida. Let me explain: We celebrate our birthdays one day apart, and our email boxes fill up with birthday wishes from local restaurants. It can be quite a challenge for us to use our free breakfast coupons before they expire. It can be equally challenging to choose the best breakfast & brunch places in Martin County to use them. But, these are our favorites.

Berry Fresh Cafe -Stuart

First up, and my favorite breakfast spot is The Berry Fresh Cafe. You will enjoy made-from-scratch foods and the farm-to-table experience. They make their delicious jellies, jams, and apple butter at Berry Fresh. The menu changes with the seasons.

Great food at reasonable prices and always served with a welcoming smile. It can get crowded on weekends, but that’s because their food is so good and their portions are huge. Try a sack of their Blueberry Fritters. You won’t be disappointed.

First Watch – The Daytime Cafe – Stuart

First Watch serves up an award-winning breakfast that specializes in creations freshly prepared to order. They use fresh fruits and vegetables, and breakfast is made from scratch. I usually will not write about chain restaurants, but I have never eaten a bad breakfast at First Watch. They offer new items with the season. I had their Pumpkin Pancakes on my last visit. You have to try their Million Dollar Bacon.

Jan’s Place – Jensen Beach

Another favorite place to go for breakfast is Jan’s Place in Downtown Jensen Beach. You can sit inside or outside. Omelets, Eggs Benedict, Pancakes, French Toast. The portions here are large. Get yourself one of their delicious muffins from the grill. You can stop by their bakery on the way out and take home a bag of muffins, pastries, or bread.

The Flamingo Diner – Stuart

I can’t say enough good things about The Flamingo Diner. A small restaurant in a shopping center but they have always treated us with a smile and quickly. It is a great spot for breakfast. The portions are healthy, and they keep your coffee hot.

Osceola Street Cafe- Downtown Stuart

In downtown Stuart, Osceola Street Cafe offers homemade breakfasts and baked goods. Add to that a delicious cup of freshly brewed coffee. Stop in for breakfast before starting your shopping trip in Downtown Stuart. Come for breakfast Sunday morning before heading to the Market on Main Street. Inside and outside seating is available.

Maria’s Cafe – Stuart

This downtown favorite has been serving homemade comfort food for over 25 years. If you are hungry for a great breakfast, Maria serves traditional eggs, omelets, and pancakes, and even does specialties such as crepes. Check out their daily specials on the blackboard. You can eat inside or outside on the patio.

Harry and The Natives – Hobe Sound

An Old Florida restaurant on US 1 in Hobe Sound. Hobe Sound’s only waterfront restaurant…..when it rains. Harry and the Natives serve creative breakfast dishes such as pancakes, omelets, quiche, and eggs benedict.

It’s fun to read their humorous signs. A sign on the front reads “If they are closed, just shove your money under the door. They accept most major credit cards. Also: dishwashing, honey-dipping, oceanfront homes, table dancing, our gift certificates.

La Grande Martier

It will feel like breakfast is a special occasion when you visit La Grande Martier in the Post Office Arcade in Downtown Stuart. This European-inspired restaurant is where history, charm, and exquisite dining blend together in perfect harmony. Nestled within the historic 1920 Post Office Arcade in Stuart, FL, this beautifully restored restaurant honors its past while embracing modern sophistication. I tried a beautifully made omelet with Ham & Gruyere cheese and a Bloody Mary. Our server Hannah saw to it that everything was perfect.

You can read about what to do after breakfast in The Perfect Three-Day Weekend in Stuart, Florida. I will add to this post as I discover new places for excellent breakfast options, but now I am thinking about dinner. Will it be a free dessert at Longhorn Steakhouse or a free appetizer from the Olive Garden? Decisions, decisions. Hmmmm!
